School Support Dog Assessments
The NSW Department of Education has released guidelines for having dogs included within public schools. This information can be accessed here.

"It is a requirement that every dog used as a school support dog undergoes:
  • familiarisation with the school environment, supervised by a professional trainer
  • training that is supervised by a professional trainer
  • monitoring by a professional trainer at least once per year."

Jody from Think Dog is now accredited as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA®) which is one of the recognised qualifications for a "professional trainer" within the guidelines.
